HPS FynArts exhibition an outstanding success
‘Colourful curves’, a contemporary portrayal of Walker Bay waves by Phil Sturgess was a firm favourite among the public that visited the HPS pop-up gallery.
We have 5 in the Western Cape top 10
Less than a month before the end of the Impala Trophy competition, our club has five members in the top ten participants from the Western Cape region. All five of them are also in the top 10% of all participants – a total of just over 900 from all over South Africa. The competition is based on achievements in salons.

Chiaroscuro and/or Photographing Light
Our set subject for June is using the chiaroscuro technique. Chiaroscuro, is an Italian term that refers to the intense contrast of light (chiar) and dark (oscuro). Think old masters, drama, mood. Play with light
