Strong contenders in June

A number of excellent images were submitted for the June club advancement. Crighton Klassen who joined the Hermanus club end last year was the judge.

Phil Sturgess’ image Heading to the Elbrus summit received 29 and was senior and overall image of the month. Feast for a falcon by Mari Botes of a falcon at a waterhole in the Kgalagadi was the junior image of the month. Husband Kobus Botes took the top accolades in the set subject competition; Chiaroscuro / Photographing light with his depiction of Late Afternoon Light and Shadows.
