After a short break during the holiday period, the Hermanus Photographic Society has its first meeting of the year at 7pm on Wednesday 5 February 2020 at the Dutch Reformed Church in Hermanus.
Here members are being challenged to submit photographic entries for judging on the theme “Poetry in Motion” and indeed that will be their theme for FynArts later in the year. There will, in addition, be the judging of other categories that, as always, shows the photographic talents of the members.
The Club will also be part of First Fridays Art Walk exhibiting at FotoFirst on Rothnick Craft Building at Dirkie Uys Street on Friday 7th February from 5pm when also being shown with the regular photographic exhibits will be various audio visual presentations as well as a drop-in Camera Surgery when the public will be invited to ask questions members of the club on photographic techniques or indeed have their cameras being given a quick once over.
