The Hermanus Photographic Society is leading the ranks in the Western Cape after the latest Impala Trophy log was released. It includes points up to the AFO salon results. The club did extremely well in AFO having received two PSSA silver medals, two certificates and 21 acceptances. Elizma Fourie received a COM for her image Stormy Waters and Carina de Klerk for A Tough Night.
The leading position however remains tight with Tygerberg trailing by a mere two points and Tafelberg and Cape Town in close pursuit.
The Lowveld Photographic Club released their results earlier this week and these results are not yet included in the Impala Log. Phil Sturgess has received another PSSA silver medal, following the two medals received in AFO for Fighting hard and Sossus trek. His latest winning image is Darter and Squeaker entered into the Nature Birds only category. The club further received 10 acceptances in this salon.
