On 1 July 2020 the Hermanus Photographic Society held their second meeting by Zoom in a week following on from their successful International Challenge Match on 25 June.
This meeting was the first virtual meeting of its regular monthly club meeting and had photos from members on both the Set Subject “Deliberate Camera Movement” as well as the regular genres. The winning photos along with the best of the runners up are posted on the club’s website.
The judge, Nicol du Toit from Cape Town, was impressed by the quality of the photos exhibited as indeed were the members themselves.
The Set Subject winner was from Hestie das Neves with “Playing With Light” with the Senior Image of the months submitted by Deon Steenkamp with “A Misty Morning in Nature”. Junior image of the month was by Mari Botes with “Frog for Supper”.
