The guest speakers at the club meeting on 6 November were Roger and Pat de la Harpe from African Imagery. They eloquently showed members their process in producing worldclass coffee table books.
Roger and Pat are a husband and wife team shooting professional photographs of wildlife, travel, conservation, and game lodges throughout South Africa and beyond, and have published some 28 astounding coffee table books (https://www.rogerandpatdelaharpe.com) as a celebration of nature and the environment. Their most recent book is Mashatu – Land of the Giants.
Part of their commitment is using their unique photographic and writing skills to greater effect, and they own and manage “African Imagery” a niche image bank of the people, wildlife and landscapes of the African continent.
