Club members were eagerly standing outside the church in the bitterly cold wind ready for our August club meeting. Due to a number of mini crises mainly brought on by load shedding, we could not meet and decided to host a Zoom session the following evening. The judging session was done by David Wilson and Daniel Reddie, giving them an opportunity to practice their judging skills for the JAP course.
The set subject was Sport in Action and Daniel, an experienced sports photographer judged the six entrees. The winning shot was Canoe Chaos by Phil Sturgess.
Ingrid Grundlingh’s nature shot of a hyena at a dead kudu, aptly named Opportunistic Pleasure, was the Junior Image of the Month. The overall winning image was Water’s Edge by Carina de Klerk.
